The 2010-2011 Season
The first event of the season was "Songs from the Silver Screen". Director of Music, Timothy Todd Simmons, lead four outstanding singers in classical and popular songs which have been used in popular movies.
Celino Romero, of the famed Romero guitar Quartet, was indeed favoriate evening.
The annual Christmas concert by the Chancel Choir presented the "Magnificat" of contemporary British composer, John Rutter, along with his arrangements of familiar Christmas carols. The concert was performed by the TPCC Chancel Choir, as well as guest soloists and musicians, directed by Dr. Nicolas Reveles.
The New Year began with the Millennia Consort. and featured the Presidio Brass, organist Alison Luedeke and percussionist Beverly Reese Dorcy. The group presented a wide variety of music from classics to folk songs.
The Second Avenue Klezmer Ensemble brought the Eastern European Jewish klezmer music which is often joyous and happy, though it comes out of a time and place of suffering.
The finale of the season was an all-Mozart program, with instrumental and vocal music and featuring the Chancel Choir and guests in the sparkling "Coronation Mass."

April 1 -- Sacra/Profana
This 24-voice ensemble specializes in a unique blend of classical and contemporary styles, with a repertoire of everything from Schoenbert and The Smashing Pumpkins to Leonard Choen and Legeti.
May 20-- Spring Concert featuring "Lux Aeterna" sung by the TPCC Chancel Choir
In addition to the "Lux Aeterna," the program will be supplemented by several other profound works from the 20th century.
All concerts begin on Sundays at 5pm. There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering is received.
